Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA),

I would like to deliver my warm greetings and also invite you to attend Combined ASEAN Hand ​Meeting of Indonesian Society of Hand, Upper Limb, and Microsurgery (PERAMOI-INASHUM) to ​be held on July 26-27, 2024 in Bandung. The theme of this meeting is Local Problems, Local ​Solution.

The Organizing Committee led by dr. Realita Malik, and his teams has promised this event to be ​unforgotten, both scientifically and also socially. You can also meet with colleagues as old ​acquaintances and dig out old memories. I urge all members of PERAMOI-INASHUM, members of ​Indonesian Orthopaedic Associaion (IOA) and also to general practitioner to mark the dates in ​your gadget and arrange your transportation early.

I hope you will take this opportunity to visit the Paris Van Java of Indonesia, the Bandung town.

Foreword

President of Indonesian Association for Hand, Upper ​Limb, and Reconstructive Microsurgery (INASHUM)

Dear friends and colleagues,

Welcome to the 4th ASEAN Hand Meeting. This year meeting will be combined with the INASHUM ​(Indonesian Society for Hand Upper Limb and Microsurgery) Annual Meeting and will be held in Bandung ​this July.

It is my great honor as President of INASHUM to welcome everyone to this meeting. The topic for this year ​combined meeting is “Local Problem Local Solutions”. As we all know, recent innovations in our field have ​sparked many new interests in terms of research and surgical techniques. At this meeting, both national ​and international experts will be encouraged to share their experiences and recommendations on cases ​that clinicians in developing countries often faced.

The organizing committee has created a scientific program which includes lecture symposiums, workshops ​and poster presentations that will aim to update the participants in the latest current knowledge, novel ​surgical techniques and approaches in the hand and upperlimb problem. Famous for its cool weather, ​Bandung, located in West Java, is also known as Parijs van Java. This beautiful city boasts enthralling ​scenery and gastronomic adventures. We sincerely hope you can mark our event on your agenda.
